PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to efficiently make setting different between plural handy terminals.;SOLUTION: A data update device 200 includes: an update-side communication unit 210 for performing data communications with handy terminals 100; and a package retention unit 310 for retaining an update package file PK that records therein update information used for updating data in each handy terminal 100 and unique to each handy terminal 100 by unique identification information provided to the handy terminal 100. In the handy terminal 100, a data retention unit 60 obtains the update package file PK retained by the package retention unit 310 with a terminal-side communication unit 15 connected with the update-side communication unit 210, update information corresponding to the unique identification information of the terminal is extracted from the update package file PK on the basis of the unique identification information provided to the terminal, and data can be updated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
