PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compensate for a phase jitter to compensate for a change in optical path length even in the case of a large optical path length change.;SOLUTION: A fiber optic microwave transmission apparatus comprises: current to light conversion means 1 which outputs a modulation light intensity-modulated by an input microwave signal for modulation use; a partial light reflection mirror 4 which reflects part of the modulation light output via an optical circulator 2 and a transmission optical fiber 3 from the current to light conversion means 1 to the transmission optical fiber 3 and transmits the rest of the modulation light; first photoelectric conversion means 5 which converts the modulation light having passed through the partial light reflection mirror 4 into a first microwave signal; second photoelectric conversion means 6 which converts the modulation light having been output via the transmission optical fiber 3 and the optical circulator 2 from the partial light reflection mirror 4 into a second microwave signal; and a phase synchronization circuit 8 which generates a modulation use microwave signal on the basis of the phase of the second microwave signal having been converted by the second photoelectric conversion means 6 and the phase of a reference microwave signal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
