PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method using an acid and/or acid-base catalyst that can be used as not only an acid catalyst but also an acid-base catalyst, can be supplied in the form of a homogeneous catalyst, and can exhibit suitable catalysis in a step of synthesizing various organic compounds using carbon dioxide etc., and an acid and/or acid-base catalyst used suitably for the manufacturing method.;SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a reaction product from a raw material compound using an acid and/or acid-base catalyst includes a step of using an oxoacid salt as the acid and/or acid-base catalyst for reaction, the oxoacid salt being a mononuclear complex in which a plurality of oxygen atoms are bonded to one metal element and having a transition metal element selected from the group of group IV to group VI elements in the periodic table as the metal element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
