PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating composition for coating a surface of a solar energy collecting reflector formable of a coating film excellent in durability such as heat resistance and water resistance, and excellent in adhesiveness, weatherability, acid resistance, scratch resistance and impact resistance, on the surface; and a production method of the solar energy collecting reflector using the coating composition.SOLUTION: This coating composition includes a fluorine-containing polymer (A) containing a polymerization unit (1) based on a fluoroolefin and a polymerization unit (2) based on a monomer having an oxetanyl group or an oxetanyl group having a substituent, and a photoreaction initiator (B). The production method of the solar energy collecting reflector comprises forming a coating layer by coating the coating composition on the surface of the reflector substrate, and thereafter curing by light irradiation to form a coating film.
