USE OF GAMMA-HARDENED RFID TAG IN PHARMACEUTICAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that RFID tags cannot be employed in environment that requires or utilize radiation because memory storage devices within the RFID tags cannot withstand the radiation, that is, charge stored in a capacitor is either depleted or enhanced by the radiation, thereby affecting a value of the RFID tags.SOLUTION: A memory device within a tag utilizes technology that does not rely upon charge storage as a mechanism to store information.
