PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a diamond abrasive grain for providing a wire tool which is excellent in productivity, can make the abrasive grain contribute to cutting in a sort time at a start of use, is rigid in the adhesion of a core wire and the abrasive grain, and excellent in the finish of a cut face, and a manufacturing method of the wire tool.;SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the diamond abrasive grain used for the wire tool imparts a positive electric charge to the surface of the diamond abrasive grain by using a cation-group surfactant, sprinkles a palladium compound on the surface of the diamond abrasive grain by immersing the diamond abrasive grain into an aqueous solution dissolved with the palladium compound, forms palladium nuclei on the surface of the diamond abrasive grain, and imparts a positive electric charge to the surface of the diamond abrasive grain again by using the cation-group surfactant after calcining the obtained diamond abrasive grain at 160°C to 500°C for 1 to 12 hours. For the adhesion of the abrasive grain 13 to the core wire 11, the wire tool is applied with plating-treatment by nickel plating bathing.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
