PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusion bonding method for cemented carbide which secures mechanical strength and does not cause deformation of a bonded portion, and to provide a diffusion-bonded cemented carbide body.;SOLUTION: A temperature gradient between a high temperature area equal to or higher than the solidus temperature of a first material 16 to be bonded and a low temperature area which is positioned toward the side of the bonding plane of the first material 16 to be bonded from the high temperature area and is lower than the temperature of the high temperature area is formed inside the first material 16 of cemented carbide to be bonded, so that a metallic bond inside the first material 16 to be bonded is fluidized toward the bonding plane of the first material 16 to be bonded and the space between a pair of bonding planes is filled with the metallic bond. In this state, the first material 16 to be bonded and a second material 18 to be bonded are bonded, so that mechanical strength can be secured because any heterogeneous metal like brazing filler metal different from cemented carbide does not intervene between the pair of bonding planes. Further, there is no deformation of the bonded portion, because during bonding, the bonding portion where the pair of bonding planes are positioned is kept at the low temperature area lower than the solidus temperature and also because it is enough to retain a pair of members for diffusion bonding without pressing the pair of members with strong force.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
