PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for moving a ball prevention net body and a method for moving a ball prevention net body capable of smoothly performing the elevation movement, hanging stretch, and storage of the ball prevention net body, and reducing maintenance requirement.;SOLUTION: A device for moving a ball prevention net boy includes: a side surface net to be stretched by hanging on the side surface side of a space; a ceiling net to be stretched by hanging on a ceiling surface side; multiple put-through bodies linearly attached in a vertical direction of the side surface net; a guide rope for putting through the put-through bodies and being stretched in a vertical direction of the space; and a drive rope stretched in parallel with the guide rope and connected to a connection part between the side surface net and the ceiling net.
