PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automobile-type vehicle including an air bag unfolding system and a vehicle system controller, in the vehicle system controller which can connect the air bag unfolding system to a backup power supply for a given time when a battery terminal voltage drops below a given threshold.SOLUTION: A method includes a step of monitoring a voltage of a first battery terminal during a stoppage/start event to determine when the voltage drops below a threshold, and a step of connecting an electric system to a backup energy source for a given period when the voltage drops below the threshold.
