METHOD FOR EXCHANGING SCREEN FOR SCREEN CHANGER, AND SCREEN CHANGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exchanging screens for a screen changer which appropriately detects leakage of resin from an air-release groove, in releasing air of the screen changer of an extruder using a DB, and the screen changer for properly using the same method.SOLUTION: In the screen changer of an extruder using a DB (Dual Bar Screen Changer), the method for completely releasing air after the screens are exchanged by allowing the resin to flow out of the air-release groove, includes detecting resin leaking from the air-release groove by use of the fact that the temperature of the resin leaking to the atmosphere from the air-release groove is different from ambient temperature, for example, temperature of a slide bar.
