FLAME RETARDANT COMPOSITION FOR POLYURETHANE, FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE AND FLAME RETARDANT POLYURETHANE FOAM PRODUCED USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame retardant composition with excellent storage stability after mixture with other materials with a red phosphorus having a high flame retardant effect homogeneously dispersed as a flame retardant for a polyurethane, in particular for a polyurethane foam, a flame retardant polyurethane and a flame retardant polyurethane foam produced using the same.SOLUTION: The flame retardant composition includes 3-50 mass% of (A) red phosphorus, and 0.2-15 mass% of (B) an anti-settling agent. The anti-settling agent is selected from carbon black, fine powder silica, hydrogenated castor oil wax, fatty acid amide wax and organic clay. The flame retardant polyurethane is produced by adding the flame retardant composition for polyurethane.
