PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous pigment dispersion for inkjet recording, extremely small in the number of coarse particles and excellent in discharge stability, and to provide an aqueous ink for inkjet recording.;SOLUTION: The method for producing the aqueous pigment dispersion for inkjet recording is characterized by comprising: a kneading process for kneading a mixture comprising a pigment, a resin having anionic groups, and an alkali metal hydroxide to produce a pigment dispersion having a solid content of ≥50 mass%; and a mixing process for mixing and stirring the pigment dispersion in an aqueous medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
