PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wiring defect detection device capable of efficient wiring defect inspection by improving a detection rate of true defects, a wiring defect detection method, a wiring defect detection program, and a wiring defect detection program recording medium.SOLUTION: A wiring defect detection device and a wiring defect detection method according to an embodiment of the present invention include the steps of: photographing a liquid crystal panel applied with voltage with an infrared camera for macro measurement; identifying if there is a heating spot in a pixel part and a peripheral circuit part respectively from the obtained image; determining whether or not respective heating spots are on the same current path; and decreasing, if the respective heating spots are on the same current path, micro photographic priority of the heating spot identified in the peripheral circuit part lower than micro photographic priority of the heating spot identified in the pixel part.
