PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring and detecting an end shape in a width direction of angle steel more accurately.;SOLUTION: An end shape in a width direction of angle steel 2 which extends toward a long axis in a length direction and has an angle shape formed in a width direction is detected. A measurement end part 20 as an object end part in a width direction is irradiated with sheet light extending in a vertical direction centering at an upper corner part 20a of an end face 20A of the measurement end part 20 from a first light source 8, and also with sheet light extending in a vertical direction centering at a lower corner part 20b of the end face 20A of the measurement end part 20 from a second light source 9; profiles at the position of the measurement end part 20 by the different irradiation are individually photographed, and the two profiles acquired by the photography are put together to determine a sectional profile of the measurement end part 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
