PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a porous solidified body useful as an absorbent, a humidity regulating material, a sustained release material and the like by using a steel slag powder wasted in a great amount in an ironworks.;SOLUTION: After a mixture with basicity regulated according to the type of silica-containing material powder is prepared by mixing at least steel slag powder with the particle size of 355 μm and the silica-containing material powder with the particle size of 355 μm together, the porous solidified body is obtained by hydrothermally treating the mixture.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
