METHOD FOR DETECTING FRAGILE SITE OF CONCRETE SURFACE LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for allowing a person having no special knowledge or experience to easily and inexpensively detect a fragile site of a concrete surface layer.;SOLUTION: A fragile site detecting method for detecting a fragile site of a concrete surface layer includes: forming a circular grinding groove with a radial dimension d and depth dimension D on a detecting object concrete surface layer using a concrete plane, collecting the whole amount of concrete powder generated then, and measuring a mass W. An apparent density ρ of the concrete powder in a grinding-groove forming position is calculated from the radial dimension d and the depth dimension D of the griding groove and the measured value of the mass W of the concrete powder. Then, a surface compressive strength or a water-cement ratio of the concrete surface layer at the grinding-groove forming position on the basis of the apparent density ρ.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
