PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor configured to improve the accuracy of position information of the rotor by suppressing dispersion of position detection of the rotor due to dispersion of attachment position of a magnetic detection element, thereby suppressing efficiency deterioration and noise of a permanent magnet buried type electric motor.;SOLUTION: An allowable range of dispersion of radial attachment position of a magnetic detection element on an end surface of a rotor core 4 is prescribed, and individual magnet insertion holes 11 are formed so as to satisfy t1≥t2, where t1 is a circumferential width of a proximity part between the individual magnet insertion holes 11 at a maximum radial distance position of the magnetic detection element, and t2 is a circumferential width of the proximity part between the individual magnet insertion holes 11 at a minimum radial distance position of the magnetic detection element.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
