PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide useful information depending on whether or not a user is a seller without switching by himself/herself whether or not the user is the merchandise seller, to the user.;SOLUTION: The purchase situation displaying control method comprises the steps of: acquiring identification information for identifying a user of a terminal device therefrom; acquiring history information for indicating the history of user actions performed in relation to the sale and purchase of merchandise on the basis of the acquired identification information; determining whether or not the user is a seller on the basis of the acquired history information; acquiring a first purchase situation indicating a ratio of a purchase number to the population for each area on the basis of population information and purchase information when the user is determined to be the seller; acquiring a second purchase situation indicating a purchase number for each area when the user is determined not to be the seller; and displaying a map where an object indicating a purchase situation acquired about an area corresponding to a display position on the map is arranged, by the terminal device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
