PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conversation summary generation system capable of improving accuracy of a summary while suppressing a cost, when generating the summary from a content of conversation/dialog.SOLUTION: A conversation summary generation system comprises: an important sentence extracting section 10 that extracts important sentences from speech sentences included in analyzed conversation data 4 and outputs the sentences as an automatic summary result 40; and a machine learning processing section 30 that generates a learning model 14 by machine learning on the basis of learning data 50 including classification information between important and unimportant sentences. The important sentence extracting section 10 includes: a rule base processing section 11 that, from the speech sentences included in the analyzed conversation data 4, extracts a speech sentence which matches an extraction rule 13 prescribing specific expression patterns for specifying important sentences as a first important sentence; and a learning model processing section 12 that, for each speech sentence included in the analyzed conversation data 4, determines whether or not the sentence is the important sentence on the basis of the learning model 14, and extracts a second important sentence. The important sentence extracting section 10 outputs a combination of the first important sentence and the second important sentence as the automatic summary result 40.
