SOLAR DAYLIGHTING APPARATUS (FOR INTERIOR ILLUMINATION)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar daylighting apparatus with energy saved and cost reduced through the use of natural light for interior illumination to save energy and switching off of electric illumination during equivalent time of sunny daytime.;SOLUTION: Manufacturing cost of equipment is reduced through elimination of an expensive condenser lens by using a plastic dome of special combination. A solar light condenser is provided by combining a light receiver of solar light made by combining a spherical dome and a cylindrical body with its upper part as a transparent window 1, a reflecting mirror of solar light made by processing a lower-part dome inner surface into a spherical mirror 3, and a concave auxiliary reflecting mirror 4 at a center part of the sphere. The upper-part transparent window of the spherical dome is to be a flat plate. The solar light is taken in by combining the solar light condenser, a rotating mechanism and an angle control device 7 for tracking solar altitude and direction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
