PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide radioactive ion condensation means of which radioactivity resistance is improved, and which can be applied to condensation of low-concentration radioactive ions in simple configuration and is used repeatedly to reduce disposal costs.;SOLUTION: An alkali metal iron oxide for radioactive ion adsorption/desorption contains an alkali metal (M) and is represented by a composition formula MxFeO2(0x), and is characterized by being used for adsorbing/desorbing radioactive ions in contact with an electrolyte containing the radioactive ions. A radioactive ion adsorption/desorption apparatus uses the alkali metal iron oxide for radioactive ion adsorption/desorption as an electrode material and adsorbs/desorbs radioactive ions efficiently through electrolysis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
