PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of accessing a storage device within a LAN through the Internet, without using a UPnP function of a rooter or a relay server which relays data transmission.;SOLUTION: In a network storage system connected to a storage device, a guide server and a client device connectable to a network, through the network, the storage device comprises: a destination acquisition part which inquires about a destination of the client device to the guide server and acquires the destination; an operation request acquisition part which inquires about an operation request for the own device to the client device having the acquired destination and acquires the operation request; and a request transmission part which transmits a request based on the acquired operation request or data processed in the storage device on the basis of the acquired operation request to the client device.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
