PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable configuration of a duplex system that can recover in a unit of seconds.SOLUTION: In server blades of a main system and a standby system, and an external storage, the server blade of main system always writes the content of nonvolatile memory to the external storage. The server blade of standby system monitors the server blade of main system by ping, and when detecting a failure, reads the content and configuration of the nonvolatile memory from the external storage for a recovery.
