PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resident survival information notification system at a lower cost using a device capable of measuring electric power.;SOLUTION: A resident survival information notification system 100 comprises: electric appliances A1 to A7; and electric power measuring instruments P1 to P7. The electric appliances A1 to A7 are installed in a house. The electric power measuring instruments P1 to P7 are installed between the electric appliances A1 to A7 and outlets, and can measure electric power supplied to the electric appliances A1 to A7. The electric power measuring instruments P1 to P7 also send safety confirmation mail (information mail regarding existence of a resident) of the resident living in the house to a power line communication network PL according to a supply state of the electric power to the electric appliances A1 to A7.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
