Nonlinear crystal with a wedge-shaped facets of harmonic generation

Laser systems and laser generates a different wavelength by difference frequency conversion or non-linear sum frequency. Nonlinear crystal with a wedge-shaped facets (30 ') compensates for the spatial walk-off phenomenon associated with critical phase matching of the nonlinear crystal in producing the harmonic laser output at peak power.
