RECOVERY PILLOW FOR LUMBAR FLEXURE AND METHOD OF USING THE PILLOW

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recovery pillow for lumbar flexure and a method of using the pillow since a waist pillow for "recovery from lumbar flexure is not available for a domestic treatment of an discogenic low back pain as many persons concerned including domestic orthopedists follow the common knowledge of "waist flexing is a taboo" and Mackenzie exercises for "waist flexing" therapy is, however, mainly applied and proved to be correct therapy in other foreign countries.;SOLUTION: A treatment of an discogenic low back pain is based upon correct therapy of "waist flexing", and a method includes applying the waist pillow to the lumbar vertebra to press the lumbar vertebra, taking the stiffness out of the muscles after the use, and thereby recovering from the lumbar flexure. The waist pillow is formed by arranging a rectangular base plate 11 at a low part and a many-sided lengthwise uniform pedestal 6 on the base plate, and also arranging a rubber-made tube 5 with an air pressure valve in a parallel form at a center part on the pedestal 6. The rubber-made tube can be controlled to have suitable pressing force through internal pressure control by the air valve, and can make recovery from lumbar flexure.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
