PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in a conventional long range missile guidance system, wherein it is difficult to make a direct data link between a communication device on the ground and the flying object due to constraint of a communication distance and the like, it is difficult to accurately recognize a meeting state with a target, and it is difficult to determine whether or not a next flying object is required to be launched.;SOLUTION: A long range missile guidance system is comprised of a flying object of a first launch, a flying object of a next launch, and a guidance control unit for guiding the flying object of the first launch and the flying object of the next launch toward a target, and the flying of object of the first launch has an imaging means for imaging a meeting state of meeting of a portion of the separated flying object and the target, and a transmission unit for transmitting image data taken by the imaging means to a relay which is similarly separated from the flying object and staying in the air, and upon receiving the image data, the relay transmits it to the guide control unit, and the guidance control unit determines whether to launch a next flying object based on the image data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
