PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deformation preventing mechanism of a contact arm capable of effectively suppressing deformation without changing the diameter of wire or the shape of the contact arm in a driving tool using a wire-type contact arm.;SOLUTION: The contact arm 20 is formed of wire rod and provided with a distal end section 20a with an approximately U shape and the distal end section 20a is bent at an approximately right angle. It is formed in a way that when the contact arm 20 is pressed against a struck member and moved in a sliding manner, a distal end of a nose section 16 thrusts into the inside of the approximately U-shape distal end section 20a of the contact arm 20. Receiving sections 22, 23 for receiving a load applied to the contact arm 20 are installed on the distal end of the nose section 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
