PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a discontinuous conductor shielding tape used for forming a cable with a shielding layer in which grounding work is unnecessary, and a differential signal cross talk is small between neighboring cables, and also to provide the cable with the shielding layer using the discontinuous conductor shielding tape, and a cord with a modular plug using the cable with the shielding cable.;SOLUTION: A discontinuous conductor shielding tape 35 includes: an insulating tape 32; a first discontinuous conductor part in which a conductor part 34 is discontinuously provided; and a second discontinuous conductor part in which the conductor part 34 is discontinuously provided. The conductor parts 34 of the first discontinuous conductor part and the second discontinuous conductor part are overlapped with each other, a portion having no conductor part 34 in one of the first discontinuous conductor part and the second discontinuous conductor part is covered with the conductor part 34 in the other of the first discontinuous conductor part and the second discontinuous conductor part.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT
