PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stereoscopic photographing apparatus capable of preventing blur of a stereoscopic still picture.;SOLUTION: A stereoscopic photographing apparatus generates a stereoscopic still picture of an object by taking images of the object at plural positions while horizontally moving a monocular camera. The stereoscopic photographing apparatus includes: a display section that displays a piece of image data for preview; a camera shift amount detection section that detects a camera shift amount from the image data for preview displayed on the display section, and after taking an image at an imaging position for one eye, displays a remaining camera shift amount up to an imaging position for the other eye on the display section; a camera imaging controller that controls the monocular camera to perform continuous imaging for one eye at first imaging intervals and subsequently perform continuous imaging for the other eye at a second imaging intervals on the basis of the imaging position; a memory section that stores continuously-taken plural pieces of image data for left eye and plural pieces of image data for right eye; and a stereoscopic image composition section that composes predetermined number of combinations of stereoscopic images from the plural pieces of image data for left eye and image data for right eye.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
