PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new load changer.SOLUTION: An amplification apparatus 951 comprises: an amplifier 952 for amplifying a signal; and a load changer connecting to an output side of the amplifier 952. The load changer 5001 comprises: a transmission line 5011; and a shunt circuit 5030 connected to some midpoint of the transmission line 5011. The shunt circuit 5030 comprises a control element L in which an element condition is changed due to a control signal. The control element L changes an impedance of the load changer 5001 due to a change of the element condition. If an impedance of the shunt circuit 5030 is infinite, the impedance of the load changer 5001 is a value that is not impedance-matched with a circuit in which a signal to be output from the load changer is supplied thereto, and is controlled by a resistance component.
