PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a margin grip detection method of a touch panel for improving operation accuracy of the touch panel and a device regarding the margin grip detection method of the touch panel.SOLUTION: A touch panel includes a margin area and an operation area. A margin grip detection method of the touch panel includes: a) a step 206 of determining whether or not a state of the margin area has changed; b) a step 214 of deleting a first margin signal when the state of the margin area does not change; and c) a step 212 of updating the first margin signal as the next standard signal when the state of the margin area changes.
