TEMPERATURE CONTROL OF IMAGE DATABASE OF KEYLESS INK COATING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for automatically controlling temperature of keyless ink coating for variable data lithography printing on the basis of the number of pixels.SOLUTION: A system uses feed-forward and feedback control loops for dynamically adjusting feed of ink on the basis of the number of pixels of image content. The number of pixels is set so that a temporal margin in which adjustment by an ink bathing and heating device is propagated via an ink train, and influences ink output to an imaging drum on the ink train is taken by sufficient reading ahead of pixels in video streams. Besides the number of pixels, feedback of reached ink concentration on a control patch of the imaging drum is also used, and a command is executed to the ink bathing and heating device. The feedback also updates ink coating propagation delay and a dynamic model to be used for determining to what degree it is necessary to adjust the ink bathing and heating device on the basis of streams of the number of pixels.
