PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which obtains such a thickness of a refractory coating material that desired characteristics are satisfied when a simulation specimen is subjected to a fireproof test.;SOLUTION: In a method of setting a thickness of a refractory coating material of a refractory coating member where a composite member including a metallic material and a concrete material is provided with the refractory coating material, the thickness of the refractory coating material of the refractory coating member is set in consideration of a thickness of a gap part which is generated at an interface between the metallic material and the concrete material of the refractory coating member when the refractory coating material of the refractory coating member is heated to a prescribed temperature, so that the metallic material of the refractory coating member is at an allowable temperature or lower of the metallic material even when the refractory coating material of the refractory coating member is heated to the prescribed temperature.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
