PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a hollow power-transmission shaft inhibiting deflection of a product, while increasing thickness of a drawing process part in the drawing process; a drive shaft assembly; and a propeller shaft assembly.SOLUTION: A hollow power-transmission shaft is formed through diameter contraction by plastic processing of sending a hollow material into a die. An inserting shaft part of a restraint tool is inserted in a sending start end part of the hollow material, to contract the diameter of the material while restraining the inner diameter of the sending start end part.
