PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a band saw blade mounting auxiliary device in a band saw machine, an annular band saw blade being easily mounted manually to the band saw machine, and a method for mounting the band saw blade using the device.;SOLUTION: A band saw blade mounting auxiliary device in a horizontal band saw machine 1 provided with a saw blade housing 7 in which an annular band saw blade is rotatably and travelably mounted to a drive wheel 13 and a driven wheel 17 in a manner vertically movable with respect to a material to be cut, the horizontal band saw blade machine being characterized in that a pair of band saw blade holding means 37 for holding a portion to be an upper travel part after the band saw blade is mounted to the drive wheel and the driven wheel, before mounting of the band saw blade is provided at a body base 3 front end of the horizontal band saw machine in front of the saw blade housing in a manner adjustable in vertical movement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
