PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target length measurement device for increasing calculation accuracy of body length of a target by determining a type of the target.;SOLUTION: An echo signal of an ultrasonic signal transmitted from a transmission part 20 to a transducer 10 is received at a reception part 30. A fish type determination information calculation part 40 detects a fish shoal that is a target or a fish body on the basis of the received echo signal and determines the fish shoal or a type of the fish body. A TS measurement part 51 measures target strength of the target on the basis of the received echo signal. A fish body length calculation part 50 calculates fish body strength of a fish type determined by the fish type determination information calculation part 40 by using a standardization value of the target strength stored in a TS standardization value storage part 53 and the target strength measured by the TS measurement part 51.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
