PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die lifting-lowering mechanism capable of lifting and lowering a die at low cost with a reduced burden on a labor.;SOLUTION: A die lifting-lowering mechanism (52) is used for a press brake (51) including a body (HT) along which a table (3) is lifted and lowered. The die lifting-lowering mechanism (52) has: a first rotary wheel (11), which is integrally provided in the side of a table (3); a second rotary wheel (12), which is integrally provided in the side of the body (HT); a looping transmission member (13), one end side of which is fixed to one side of the table (3) and one side of the body (HT), and which is looped over the first and second rotary wheels (11), (12); and a die holder (9), which is fixed to the other side of the looping transmission member (13) and can hold a die (4).
