PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical connector to/from which a guide pin can be attached/detached and which is free of falling of the guide pin and can avoid increasing in size.;SOLUTION: The optical connector includes a ferrule 12 having a guide pin insertion hole 15a, an optical fiber 40 which has one end fixed to the ferrule 12 and the other end extended from the ferrule 12; a pin clamp 19 which can be fitted to a projection part of a guide pin 15 projecting from the opposite side from the side of a joint end face 14 to be attached and detached in a direction crossing the guide pin insertion hole 15a. The pin clamp 19 has a fitting recessed part 183 which is fitted to the projection part of the guide pin 15 to restrict lengthwise movement of the guide pin, and the fitting recessed part 183 is so formed as to put the projection part of the guide pin 15 in and out in the direction crossing the guide pin insertion hole 15a.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
