PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disclosure range determination method, a disclosure range determination device and a program that can determine whether or not there is an error in a disclosure range of specified data.SOLUTION: A disclosure range determination method comprises the steps of: receiving a disclosure range of data and metadata of the data by a reception section 302; extracting attribute information of a user belonging to the disclosure range of the received data by a group member extraction section 304 from contents of a storage section in which the disclosure range of the data and the attribute information of the user belonging to the disclosure range are associated and stored; converting the received metadata to keywords by a disclosure range estimation section 305 on the basis of a conversion rule for converting the metadata to significant information and the contents of the storage section in which the keywords corresponding to the conversion rule are associated and stored; and determining whether or not the user belonging to the disclosure range received is qualified for the received disclosure range by a determination section 306 depending upon whether or not the keywords converted are included in the attribute information extracted.
