PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide space error parameters for 3D buildings and terrain.SOLUTION: A method for visualization of 3D objects and/or 3D terrain using a mobile device having a display and a range metering device comprises visualizing the 3D objects and/or the 3D terrain on the basis of their respective distances from the mobile device and on the basis of respective parameters measuring the detailedness of the 3D object and/or the 3D terrain.
