TERMINAL DIFFUSION NUMBER SURVEY SYSTEM AND METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal diffusion number survey system and method that accurately and simply survey a regional diffusion number of terminals by use of an IP address and its geographical positional information.;SOLUTION: An address management server 3 is updated as needed, and holds an address map associating the latest IP addresses with geographical positional information at a network service provider (sequences 10-11). A terminal management server 2 identifies a terminal 5 by communicating with each terminal 5 and obtaining its IP address, and obtains the geographical positional information of the terminal 5 by referring to the address map (sequences 20-25). A tabulation server 4 obtains a regional diffusion number of the terminals by adding up geographical positional information obtained regarding each terminal 5 region by region (sequences 30-32).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
