PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a front-wheel-drive mechanism for achieving autonomous traveling of an airplane, and a front-wheel-drive airplane including the mechanism.;SOLUTION: The front-wheel-drive mechanism of the airplane includes: an electric motor M for rotating a front wheel 2 of an airplane 1; a power source part B for supplying power to the electric motor M; and a power transmission cable C for connecting the electric motor M to the power source part B. When the electric power from the power source part B is transmitted to the electric motor M via the power transmission cable C, the front wheel 2 is rotated as the electric motor M is rotated, thereby enabling autonomous traveling of the airplane 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
