SIMPLE DELUXE EDITION INCLUDING SADDLE-STITCHED BOOKLET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To save time and effort used for coating an adhesive to a groove part near a gutter of a cardboard book cover and to reinforce a stitched part of an endpaper, in binding a simple deluxe edition whose saddle-stitched booklet is wrapped with the cardboard book cover.;SOLUTION: A pressure sensitive adhesive is applied on the entire face of one side of a paper bundle whose center portion is a back of the booklet, the endpaper 2 pasted with a cheesecloth 7 using a hot-melt paste to the center portion is stacked by making the center portions coincide with each other, a saddle-stitched and twofold booklet is made by binding centers of the center portions by a wire 3 or a thread, the saddle-stitched and folded booklet is wrapped with the cardboard book cover 5 consisting of a front cover 5a, spine cover 5b and back cover 5c which are made from a cardboard, the cardboard cover 5 and a cheesecloth 7 are adhered by melting the hot-melt paste of the cheesecloth 7 pressing a heated streak trowel to a part of an outer groove 5d of the cardboard book cover 5, and then the endpaper is stuck all over a reverse face of the front cover and a reverse face of the back cover with the pressure sensitive adhesive.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
