PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for elucidating a correlation between a level of various cytokines/chemokines contained in breast milk and an onset of the atopic dermatitis and, on the basis thereof, predicting the infant atopic dermatitis on the basis of cytokine/chemokine values in the breast milk.;SOLUTION: The method for determining an onset risk of the infant atopic dermatitis includes: (1) measuring a concentration of at least one cytokine selected from the group comprising IL-1β, IL-6, IL-7, IL-12p40, IL-13, and MIP-1α in colostrum that an infant takes, or a concentration of at least one cytokine or chemokine selected from the group comprising IL-1α, IL-4, IL-6, IL-7, IL-12p40, eotaxin, G-CSF, GM-CSF, IFN-α2, and MIP-1α in mature milk that the infant takes; and (2) correlating the concentrations of cytokine or chemokine measured in (1) with the onset risk of the infant atopic dermatitis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
