PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diffusible hydrogen-controlling lubricating composition which is used for lubricating a rolling component including a member comprising bearing steel, and controls early damage of the rolling component due to hydrogen brittleness by preventing hydrogen generated by moisture mingled during use from penetrating into the bearing steel member; the rolling component lubricated with the lubricating composition and a rolling device using the rolling component; and a method for controlling amount of diffusible hydrogen using the lubricating composition.;SOLUTION: Lubricating oil 5 is used for lubricating the member comprising bearing steel in the rolling component and also is used in such environment that moisture is mingled. The lubricating oil includes base oil and a zinc compound, wherein the amount of diffusible hydrogen penetrated into the member during use of the rolling component is decreased compared with the amount of diffusible hydrogen penetrated into the member during use of the rolling component under the same conditions, except that lubrication is performed using a lubricating composition excluding the zinc compound from the lubricating composition.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
