PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for estimating a travel object which is capable of accurately estimating even a destination of an action having little habitualness.;SOLUTION: The travel object estimating system recognizes, by an image analyzing-recognizing part 33, an image of the situation in an occupant's own vehicle photographed by an in-vehicle camera 21, and based on a state of embellishment of the occupant of the vehicle being recognized, the system estimates the travel object and the travel destination of the vehicle by a travel object estimating part 45. On the occasion, the travel object estimating part 45 estimates the current travel object and destination of the vehicle out of places at which the vehicle arrived as the travel destinations in the past, by using the information formed by making information on clothes, states and ornaments as an embellished state of a person correspond to the places and stored in an embellished state-travel object database 16, and by using the information formed by making the image photographed by the in-vehicle camera 21 correspond to the travel destination on that occasion and stored in an embellished state-traveling place storage part 43.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
