PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a composite material of ceramic particle-reinforced aluminum-silicon-based alloy, which can improve wettability between a ceramic particle and an aluminum alloy, and also can increase dispersibility of the ceramic particle.;SOLUTION: The composite material of ceramic particle-reinforced aluminum-silicon-based alloy is produced by adding a ceramic particle to a molten metal of hypoeutectic aluminum alloy containing no silicon, evenly dispersing the ceramic particle in the molten metal, and then adding silicon to the molten metal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
