PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a location management system and the like which can suppress a work man-hour of a controller registering a communication address and location information in association.;SOLUTION: A location management system comprises: a communication terminal 2 for transmitting communication packets including its own communication address; a location management server 1 for storing the communication address of the communication terminal 2 and location information of the communication terminal 2 in association; and a location information transmission terminal 3 for acquiring the location information to transmit it to the location management server 1. The location management server 1 acquires data length of a ping packet as a communication condition of a communication terminal for associating the location information transmitted from the location information transmission terminal 3 with the communication address included in communication packets transmitted from the communication terminal 2, and when data length of a ping packet transmitted from the communication terminal 2 corresponds to the communication condition, the location management server 1 registers the communication address of the communication terminal 2 and the location information transmitted from the location information transmission terminal 3 in association.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
