PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sludge treatment agent capable of effectively utilizing a bacteriostatic agent such as nitrite added to organic sludge, capable of deodorizing a dehydrated cake even when the contact time between the organic sludge and the bacteriostatic agent is short, and capable of reducing a dehydrated cake water content, and to provide a sludge treatment method using the same and a sludge treatment apparatus.SOLUTION: This sludge treatment agent is characterized in that a water permeable fibrous material is impregnated with a bacteriostatic agent, and the water content is 15 to 80 mass.%. This sludge treatment method is characterized in that the sludge treatment agent is added to the sludge, a flocculant is then added to perform flocculation, and thereafter dehydration treatment is performed. This sludge treatment method is characterized in that the sludge treatment agent and a flocculant are simultaneously added to perform flocculation, and thereafter dehydration treatment is performed. This sludge treatment apparatus 1 comprises: a sludge reservoir 2; an injection device 6 injecting the sludge treatment agent into sludge; a mixing device 7 mixing the sludge and the sludge treatment agent; a flocculant dissolving device 8; a flocculation device 11 mixing the mixture of the sludge and the sludge treatment agent and the flocculant to condition the flocculated sludge; and a dehydrator 13 dehydrating the flocculated sludge.
